Over 275 wonderful, caring volunteer practitioners

services provided by CMCC possible.
If you are a licensed acupuncturist, certified
massage therapist, therapeutic imagery specialist, Western herbalist,
homeopath, driver, Spanish or Chinese language Interpreter, clinic or
office support person, we warmly invite you to join our community of
volunteers.
There is no shortage of volunteer opportunities
at CMCC. There are approximately 610 clients at any given time, all
needing CAM treatments and support services, now in two locations.
The first step is to fill out the CMCC
Volunteer Application Form. This form can be downloaded or printed
from our website.
Or call CMCC's Volunteer Coordinator and the form
can be mailed to you. You will also be able to get an overview of the
volunteer application process and have any questions answered (510)

you will be contacted and an in-person interview scheduled.
Clinic shifts are available in San Francisco on Fridays and Saturdays
only. In Oakland on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
we ask volunteers to offer 2 shifts per month for a one year committment.
Once you have completed your interview, you will be invited to attend
our comprehensive volunteer training.
CMCC’s training is comprised of several workshops, including a
medical overview of cancer, political aspects of cancer, issues of grief
and loss and much more.
After completing the training you are eligible to begin as a CMCC volunteer.
