I love CMC because I get to see how holistic treatments help clients discover inner physical, mental, and spiritual resources to face, gracefully live with, and, in some cases, supersede their illness.

Melbra Watts is a visionary leader and seasoned professional with extensive public and nonprofit experience in financial analysis, program management, and operational oversight. Melbra has worked for the Port of Oakland, John F. Kennedy University, and the Oakland Private Industry Council, where she was Chief Operating Officer. Always health conscious, she eventually shifted her focus to wellness and holistic development, participating in a number of projects and managing a private practice as an energy healing practitioner.  Melbra became affiliated with the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic in 2013 as a volunteer practitioner. In 2017, she joined CMC’s Board of Directors and served as Board President prior to accepting the executive director position in 2020. Melbra has earned a BA in Social Welfare from U.C. Berkeley, an MBA in Management from Golden Gate University, and a professional competency Certification in Shamanic Energy Medicine from The Four Winds. Melbra enjoys writing, creating healthy vegetarian dishes, and walking the beach with her dog Sodapop.
