This summer, Nancy Chang, one of CMC’s longtime volunteers who delivers an average of 20 of her delicious soups monthly for our clients at Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle. Nancy founded her company Purpose and Hope when she saw first-hand how important nutrient-rich foods are for people with cancer while caring for her mother who was undergoing chemotherapy. Nancy says,
“Having the honor of donating soups infuses our work with a sense of purpose and mission to help further equitable access to the basic[s] every person needs in order to contribute to the world their unique beauty and magic. We are so grateful for the warmth we feel being a part of the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic community.”
We thank Nancy for her generous and healthy donations! Click here to read the San Francisco Chronicle article featuring Nancy.
