A workshop to learn about the risks and safer options in personal care and household cleaning products.
Women’s Cancer Resource Center and Charlotte Maxwell Clinic are delighted to host the Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP), team for an educational workshop moderated by Nyisha Washington where we will be exploring the cancer-related risks (and safer alternatives) to the products we use every day. We invite attendees to bring in a personal care item that we can review together as a group.
This interactive session will explore personal care products, household cleaners, and medical devices with a focus on identifying chemicals of concern, understanding product labels and marketing claims, and making more informed choices for our health and homes.
This workshop is available to current Charlotte Maxwell Clinic clients.
For assistance or questions, please call us at (510) 601-7660 extension 6 or email us at clientservices@charlottemaxwell.org.
