For the past 34 years Dr. Crystal Terry has provided anesthesia services for the people of the East Bay.  The first 13 years of practice, Dr. Terry worked at Summit Hospital.  Following that, she was the Chief of Anesthesia at Alameda Hospital for 13 years and the President of Island Anesthesia Associates.  She studied at the Helms Medical Institute for Physician Acupuncture Training and practiced acupuncture in conjunction with her anesthesia and pain management practices.  Her participation on not-for-profit boards of directors includes the Selam Foundation supporting international medical mission opportunities for medical students, Golden Pacific Home Health, Inc. providing a continuum of care for post-acute care patients, and Savage Jazz Dance Company, for which she was a founding board president. Dancing is one of Dr. Terry’s passions.

Dr. Terry received her Doctor of Medicine degree from UCLA and her AB from Harvard University.  She currently resides in Berkeley with her wife, two doggies, Francie and Sammie, and her adult son who lives right down the street.
