“CMC is revolutionary in their perspective towards wellness and healing. In a world where well-being is overmedicalized, integrative services act as the breathing room women need so true wellness and healing can take place.”

Magdalena was an external consultant to CMC in 2022, after which she knew she wanted to join the Board and continue her involvement with the clinic. She is currently a Financial Systems Analyst in the Corporate Budget & Fiscal Planning team at NYC Health & Hospitals, the nation’s largest municipal healthcare system. Previous to that, she spent some time at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center doing process improvement work in the Patient Financial Services Department. Throughout her career, Magdalena has also worked in epidemiological and molecular research, health IT, and healthcare communications. She is passionate about the intersection of science and society as the holistic approach to successfully tackling challenges in healthcare management.

Magdalena was born and raised in Santiago, Chile and earned her Masters in Health Administration from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and her Bachelors degree in Human Biology & Society from UCLA.
