Maggie Burgett
“I appreciate the importance of caring for the whole patient, not just with traditional western medicine but with complementary therapies. I’m delighted to be part of the CMC community that provides services to low-income women who might not otherwise have access to holistic care.”
Maggie Burgett worked for Stanford University for over 30 years as a Project Executive in the Department of Project Management. Maggie managed the design and construction of dozens of buildings on the Stanford campus. Her projects included laboratories, offices, art buildings, and performance venues. Maggie retired in 2022.
As a Certified Healing Touch Professional, Maggie has volunteered with Healing Partners at Stanford Health Care since 2010, offering therapy to clients who are in active cancer treatment. She also recently completed Applied Compassion Training at the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford.
Maggie lives in Mountain View and enjoys hiking, reading, swimming, quilting, and traveling with her husband and children.
