“For me, integrative care is a reminder of the uniqueness of each individual. In conjunction with western medicine, I believe this holistic approach is critical to caring for the whole person.” 

Poorvi Satya is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration at Columbia University after having worked as an Operations & Clinical Program Lead at Promaxo, a medical device company in Oakland, CA. Her initial interest in healthcare stemmed from people in her community who have battled cancer and other illnesses. These experiences have driven her determination to work toward better, more equitable healthcare access for all, especially in the context of social determinants of health. Poorvi has had the privilege of working with a variety of service organizations, including the Alzheimer’s Association, Sevathon, and Health Leads. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and earned her undergraduate degrees in Systems Biology and Business Management from Case Western Reserve University.
